The students are taking on the teachers for the next episode of Planet Acorn’s Game Show Dahlonega! Join us for a fun-filled showdown between students from Lumpkin County High School and their teachers, featuring trivia, challenges, surprises, and plenty of hometown school spirit.
Who knows the most? Who can think the fastest? And will the students finally get to teach their teachers a thing or two?

Celebrate the holiday season in the heart of Dahlonega at Christmas in the Park, hosted by the Dahlonega Arts Alliance on Saturday, November 28, from 10 AM to 5 PM!
Enjoy live musical entertainment throughout the day featuring four talented artists and bands, bringing holiday cheer and a festive soundtrack to this special community event.
Special Guest: Bobby Youngblood as the Planet Acorn Elf!
Bobby Youngblood of Planet Acorn will be your emcee for the day's musical entertainment, introducing performers and helping keep the holiday spirit alive with a little extra Planet Acorn magic.

You might discover a Star NUT Reading, a touch of magic, or simply a cozy, otherworldly lounge where the spirit of Halloween takes over. Come curious, embrace the weirdness, and see what sort of mischief the evening has in store!
Featuring live music from Ruby Velle & The Soulphonics, a costume contest, handmade witch hats from Vagabond’s Crafts, and complimentary psychic readings with Brian Peace, the evening promises plenty of Halloween magic.

For the premiere episode of Planet Acorn’s Game Show Dahlonega, we’re bringing together members of the Lumpkin County Fire Department and the Lumpkin County Sheriff’s Office and Dahlonega Police Department, for a night of trivia, challenges, surprises, and hometown fun.
Who knows Dahlonega best? Who has the quickest reflexes? Who can handle the pressure of the final round?

Join storyteller and entertainer Bobby Youngblood as his mischievous alter ego, Zipper the Squirrel, for a one-of-a-kind interactive stroll through historic downtown Dahlonega!
This is a shared adventure! You'll join other explorers for a fun, interactive experience through downtown Dahlonega. Every group helps make the adventure unique.
Meet near the flagpole on the west side of the Dahlonega Gold Museum (the Old Lumpkin County Courthouse) before setting off on a playful adventure filled with imagination, laughter, and local charm.
Along the way you'll enjoy:
Lighthearted stories and fascinating tidbits of Dahlonega history
Stops at some of Planet Acorn's favorite downtown destinations, including sweets, toys, tea, antiques, and more
Mini adventures such as treasure hunts, pop quizzes, and surprise challenges
A bear hunt, a visit to a mine shaft, and other whimsical discoveries
Plenty of photo and video opportunities throughout the experience
Whether you're visiting Dahlonega for the first time or rediscovering it with fresh eyes, this guided adventure is designed to help you get acquainted with the town before setting off on your own explorations.
